DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1)       Administers information systems and related services for the purpose of ensuring the availability to authorized users.

2)       Works with Information Systems Officer to design and develop information system solutions that meet identified corporate goals and initiatives.

3)       Participates in the activities of analysis, design, development, implementation, and support on the assigned information system.

4)       Identifies and resolves service incidents, issues, questions and problems with all elements of the assigned information system.

5)       Works with vendors, suppliers or contractors in the delivery of turnkey information system projects.

6)       Performs other IT-related functions as may be assigned.

SPECIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or other related fields.

EXPERIENCE

3+ years of working experience and understanding of system development life cycle, dynamics of applications development projects, IT best practices and methodologies.

SKILLS

Working knowledge and hands-on experience in RDBMS, Microsoft .NET, Visual Basic/ASP, C++, and other systems development tools and languages.

Preferably with systems and business process analysis skills.

MARKETING OFFICER

(Location: Villanueva, Misamis Oriental)

JOB PURPOSE

The Marketing Officer will be responsible for developing, executing and accomplishing comprehensive marketing plans, programs and/or equivalent for the Company’s energy services businesses that factor in market conditions, regulatory environment, competitive environment, and customer needs. Mainly, will be a team player to fully achieve the group’s deliverables.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1)       Understand the power industry market on the wholesale and retail business;

2)       Propose and recommend tactical marketing plan that will support the achievement of corporate goals;

3)       Perform competitive assessments- market participants, product offerings, market share, pricing, strategies, etc.;

4)       Identify target markets and develop target customer lists based on various resources;

5)       Support, as required, the Manager in securing contracts and/or any equivalent medium with prospective customers;

6)       Accomplishes marketing and organization mission by completing related results as needed;

7)       Keep abreast of market conditions and competitor status that impacts the commercial market and communicate to the organization key market information;

8)       Provides information by collecting, analysing, and summarizing data and trends;

9)       Prepare reports, making presentations, and making recommendations;

10)   Negotiation follow-through with Customers and other concerned agencies;

11)   Complete other jobs assigned by the Manager.

SPECIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Management, Economics, and Commerce or equivalent and proven experience from within a similar role and industry in Power Generation

One must be willing to travel, work on call and must have a knowledge of database software, project management software, spreadsheet and word processing software, electronic mail, graphics, technical diagrams, flow charts, etc. and must possess the following skills:

1) Analytical skills. Marketing Officer must have analytical mind. One must know the value of the vast amount of data available, and are highly interested in what that data can reveal about the market or consumer behavior, efficacy of various marketing approaches and more. He/she must also know how to look beyond the data and pick up on trends and patterns that can lead to better, more successful marketing efforts.

CUSTOMER RELATIONS OFFICER (CRO)

(Location: Villanueva, Misamis Oriental)

JOB PURPOSE

The Customer Relations Officer (CRO)’s primary goal, together with the Customer Relations Officer and the group, is to secure power supply contracts with potential Customers. With this goal in mind, the CRO is expected to build relationships with, not only existing Customers, but also with stakeholders, potential Customers and concerned agencies. The CRO is tasked to position the company to have the opportunity to promote the company’s product and cultivate the company’s connection to the Customers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1)       Make preparatory engagements with prospective customers: meetings, follow-ups, information gathering, intelligence

2)       Understand the power industry market, particularly the need of customers on the wholesale and retail business

3)       Support, as required, the Manager in securing contracts and/or any equivalent medium with prospective customers

4)       Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements, defining market, competitor’s share, establishing targeted market share;

5)       Collaborate with all internal resources to ensure adherence to all customer requirements;

6)       Build-up relationships with Customers

7)       Negotiation follow-through with selected Customers and other concerned agencies;

8)       Assessments on potential customers based on available information, recommendation of interfaces/meetings and further evaluate;

9)       Receive and respond to customer service account inquiries;

CONTROL ROOM ENGINEER

(Location: Villanueva, Misamis Oriental)

JOB PURPOSE

To operate and control boiler and its auxiliaries through Distributed Control System for the safe, reliable and efficient operation of the plant.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1)       Responsible for the start-up and shutdown of Boiler and its auxiliaries.

2)       Responsible for normal operation of the plant including load variations.

3)       Record, monitor and evaluate operating system parameters such as temperature, pressure, tank levels and flow trend curves and make necessary recommendations to the Boiler Shift Supervisor for optimum boiler performance and to prevent breakdowns.

4)       Record, monitor and evaluate operating system parameters such as temperature, pressure, tank levels and flow trend curves and make necessary recommendations to the Boiler Shift Supervisor for optimum boiler performance and to prevent breakdowns.

5)       Monitor and interpret DCS alarm indications of equipment malfunction and coordinate with Boiler Shift Supervisor and Auxiliary Operator for alarm rectification.

6)       Operate the control system of the plant substation equipment and HV/LV switchgear during plant maintenance activities, emergency situations or as required.

7)       Troubleshoot any abnormalities during the shift and initiate remedial measures to prevent unnecessary downtime.

8)       Communicate with plant dispatch to regulate and coordinate line voltages and transmission loads and frequencies at normal operation.

9)       Coordinate with personnel concerned/affected during equipment maintenance, servicing and tests.

10)   Assist in the implementation of plant’s policies, SOPs, safety procedures, good housekeeping, energy conservation guidelines and environmental regulations.

11)    Perform other functions not limited to tasks related to the job such as committee and cross training functions if designated.

SPECIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

Licensed Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics Engineer

EXPERIENCE

An experienced control room engineer in CFB boiler or 2-year experience as control room engineer in a thermal power plant.

Minimum of 1-year experience as auxiliary operator in a CFB boiler.

SKILLS

1)       Considerable knowledge in the operations of steam turbines and coal fired boilers.

2)       Ability to analyze and interpret operational statistical and graphical data regarding power plant operation.

3)       Knowledge in Mechanical and Electrical Systems including its design and operation.

4)       Ability to read and understand equipment instructional manuals and maintenance operating

5)       procedure.

6)       Application of considerable knowledge of local laws, regulations rules and ordinances and departmental policies and procedures related to the area of operation including occupational hazards and safety precautions such as proper handling and disposal of chemicals used in operation.

7)       Working knowledge on good techniques and practices in the proper use of tools and equipment.

8)       Ability to communicate using different media such as email, radio and telephone.

9)       Working knowledge in using problem solving techniques and decision-making tools such as Cause and Effect Diagrams and other related techniques. Ability to determine causes of operating error and deciding on appropriate actions to eliminate such cause from reoccurring.
