DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaboration with the different government agencies- national and local for the Company’s welfare and needs.

Establish and maintain good relationships with the different government agencies – local and national- for the company’s good image.

Facilitates application of necessary permits, licenses, and visas for the company’s projects and ventures.

Plans, develops, implement, administers, and evaluates programs and activities related to government affairs.

Lead the coordination, implementation, and monitoring of the program’s effectiveness and recommend program improvements.

Constantly gather relevant information from industry partners regarding industry issues that may impact project development/company image and reputation and provide timely feedback to management with appropriate recommendations on addressing issues for potential/new projects.

Maintains communications with the company’s leadership, various organizations, and constituency groups that will provide effective support services.

Ensures the availability of communication materials and tools, ensuring quality and accuracy, and consistency of information.

Ensures correct application of the brand and consistency in messaging across the organization.

Administers and coordinates complex requests and interactions with stakeholders and government officials/staff.

Performs other duties related to the function that may be required from time to time.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Political Science, Economics, or any related course is an advantage.
EXPERIENCE:
At least 5 years experience in public relations program implementation.
Has a medium to a high-level understanding of the industry with knowledge in project management and external linkages, especially with media outlets.
Has experience working in the government (national preferably) and maintains a good relationship in his/her former office/s.
