DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Supervises the Business Development Department, particularly in developing business cases for potential projects such as projects for acquisition, public bidding, and other business opportunities, including due diligence and financial analysis.
  2. Delivers high-level strategic insights from industry trends and business policy recommendations to management based on financial analysis, research, data analysis, and collaboration with other functional units.
  3. Recommends proposals based on the financial viability of potential projects that are already operational and other business opportunities.
  4. Represents the company as an expert witness in Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) rate application cases.
  5. Leads in providing technical assistance and recommendation to the company’s affiliates and potential contestable customers on energy-related concerns.
  6. Perform other functions related to business development as may be assigned.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree in Economics/Engineering/Business courses, or other related fields.
EXPERIENCE:
At least 10 years of working experience in the related field/energy industry with knowledge in business development, project evaluation, regulatory policies, strategic planning, and permitting requirements.
High-level understanding of the power sector and power plant technologies, regulatory compliances, business planning, and energy industry practices.
Relevant supervisory knowledge, experiences, or further studies.
