The IT Operations Specialist is responsible for providing help desk and technical support for the corporate IT infrastructure, information systems, and desktop management.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Provide Level 1 & 2 help desk and technical support for corporate end-users on IT infrastructure, information systems, and IT services. Level 1 includes basic desktop troubleshooting, network services, device configuration, etc. Level 2 includes technical support to end users for corporate applications and information systems.
2. Works with senior team members in the day-to-day operations and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure.
3. Escalates support problems that are beyond skill level to senior team members or vendors responsible for providing the required technical support.
4. Perform other IT functions as may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or other related fields
2. Must have a working knowledge and experience in any two of the following functions: servers and storages, Active Directory, systems administration, networking, and databases.
3. Problem-solving skills – diagnose technical problems and develop quick and precise solutions.
4. Must have a strong background in configuration and maintenance of servers and storages, Active Directory, networking, database, or system administration.
