My Little Bag of Hope 2017
Part of the celebration of Christmas 2017, FDC Misamis’ celebrated a Christmas Party with the kids of Maribojoc Elementary School (MES), Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental dubbed as the “My Little Bag of Hope” (MLBH) held on December 13, 2017. Around 180 kids in MES experienced the true spirit of Christmas through the firm’s traditional gift giving program.
MLBH is an annual employee engagement program to its host communities painting hope and spreading joy among barrio kids.
Now on its third year, the program aims to spread a message of hope to children through the encouragement and sense of “malasakit” of FDC Misamis’ employee-volunteers with each specially prepared bag of kiddie treats and school supplies.
MLBH is one of the power firm’s consistent demonstration of its commitment to give back to its host-communities. Furthermore, it is the company’s way to provide volunteer opportunities to its employees during the holiday season.
