Disaster Response for Barangay Sta. Cruz in the Municipality of Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental
Last January 19, 2017, the Tagoloan River overflowed due to prolonged heavy rains submerging Barangay Sta. Cruz in the Municipality of Tagoloan, FDC Misamis promptly provided support to 31 families or 151 individuals by donating 50 sacks of rice which was turned-over to the Local Government Unit of Tagoloan.
Mayor Heckert Jude “Manok” Emano was grateful to the company for extending help to the families who were temporarily evacuated.
Aside from the donation, FDC Misamis also assisted the municipality in excavating the flooded area by providing a backhoe, enabling the evacuees to go home sooner.
